DUTIES
The Department of Animal Health (https://www.tru.ca/science/diplomas-certificates/vtech.html) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant teaching professor. The candidate should be able to teach a variety of subjects for the Veterinary Technology program to meet the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association curriculum standards and accreditation as well as providing team veterinary care for all species housed at TRU. This position is bipartite and requires both service and teaching duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine or eligible for licensing in British Columbia
- Membership in the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- within the last 5 years in a small or mixed animal practice is required
- Large and exotic animal experience an asset

Pay Band
$71,520.00 – $110,800.00 (According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 – TS12) )
