Associate Veterinarian

Start Date: ASAP

• Russell Lake Animal Hospital is a full-service facility (in-house laboratory, Idexx reference lab support, surgical suite, dental suite, a DR radiology suite and US, in-house pharmacy) and has a fantastic team of support staff.
• We are open 7 days a week but we are supported by our local 24/7 emergency hospital, so our staff are NOT expected to be on-call for overnights or holidays.
• Our team strongly believes in ongoing professional and personal development.

Qualifications:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree valid for practice in Canada
• License for practice in Nova Scotia or the ability to become licensed.
• Strong communication skills, an interest in diagnostics, internal medicine, and surgery
• A desire for compassionate care, to foster long-term relationships with our clients and patients
• For the right candidate, help with relocation can be offered.
• Full-time or part-time hours are available.
