Kensington Veterinary Clinic Ltd in Kensington, Prince Edward Island is seeking an Animal Health Technician to join our companion animal team for a one-year maternity leave position. We are a mixed animal practice providing routine preventative care as well as in-house diagnostics, dentistry and surgical services. We are equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography (dental and full-body) and ultrasound. You would be joining a team of 2 technicians, 3 small animal veterinarians, and 7 support staff of veterinary assistants and receptionists.
We have availability for full-time and are also open to discussing flexible or part-time options. Our clinic is open for appointments Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ( shifts are 7.5 hours per day with 1 hour lunch break). On call AHT rotation currently of one week night every 3 weeks and 1 weekend day every 9-10 weekends with compensation for on-call duty as well as call-in bonus. Compensation based on experience & level of qualifications, starting at $21/hr for an unregistered new grad with higher compensation levels for experienced and registered technicians.
