Complete Care Hospital for Pets is a modern, independently owned small animal hospital located just outside Halifax in beautiful Lake Echo, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a fully licensed Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and supportive team.
Our hospital is thoughtfully staffed with strong RVT support and a mentorship-driven culture where quality medicine and sustainable work-life balance are priorities. Two DVMs are typically scheduled, and appointment times allow for thorough patient care.
We offer flexible scheduling options (4 x 10-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts), no Sunday work, and a generous 90-minute daily lunch break.
The practice is well equipped with digital body and dental radiography, in-house Heska laboratory, ultrasound, fully equipped surgical and dental suites, AI-assisted medical records, and recently renovated facilities with six exam rooms.
Compensation ranges from $100,000–$120,000 annually, with earning potential up to $130,000 for DVMs comfortable with sole charge. A $10,000 signing/retention bonus, team bonus opportunities, CE allowance, paid licensing and malpractice insurance, group benefits, immediate paid vacation, and pet discounts are also offered.
