We are looking to welcome a highly motivated, team-oriented, communicative, relationship-based, innovative Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team at Sunnyview Animal Care.
We are a well-established, privately owned, team-spirited small animal practice located in Bedford, just 10 minutes outside of Halifax. For 26 years, we have proudly served our community with a collaborative approach to veterinary care that considers what is best for our furry/feathered/scaled clients as well as their families. This is a very exciting opportunity to join Sunnyview Animal Care as we have a new Owner & Operations Director, Dr. Melissa Burgoyne.
Dr. Burgoyne has been a part of our community for many years prior to leading our Sunnyview team. Dr. Burgoyne is known for her leadership, mentorship, experience, medical expertise, and kindness towards people and animals alike. Our RVTs play a crucial role in (we couldn’t possibly list them all :):
* Assisting our veterinarians
* Assisting in surgery
* Performing diagnostic testing and follow-up assessments
* Building a supportive environment for our animal clients as well as their families
* Contributing to overall practice success including a collaborative and supportive team
