Burnside Veterinary Hospital in Dartmouth, NS, seeks a part-time Associate Veterinarian for a one-year maternity leave. Join a Gold Standard Feline Friendly practice with 6 veterinarians, 17 support staff, and advanced technology, including digital x-rays, Class IV laser therapy, an in-house lab, and ultrasound.
Our services include chemotherapy, ovary-sparing spays, PennHIP evaluations, and soon, rehabilitation services. We are deeply rooted in the community, emphasizing empathy, compassion, and excellence.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian seeking work-life balance. The schedule includes Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-8 PM, Wednesdays 8 AM-4 PM, and alternating Friday/Saturday shifts. No on-call duties are required, and the position includes a $200 uniform allowance.
