Bedford Highway Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team under new ownership!
We’re a two-doctor practice with a small but mighty support team, with a commitment to quality patient care. Whether you’re looking for a full-time position or part-time hours, we’re open to building a role that works for you.
What you’ll be doing
This position will focus primarily on routine surgery and dentistry, with medical appointments mixed into the schedule.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced support team, grow your clinical skills, and help shape the future of the practice.
Our hospital and team
Our small but mighty team includes:
● 3 RVTs (2 full-time, 1 part-time)
● 2 full-time Veterinary Assistants/CSRs + 1 part-time CSR
We’re a fully equipped hospital featuring:
● In-house IDEXX CBC, chemistry, and urinalysis
● Digital radiography and dental radiography
● Ultrasound
● Therapeutic laser

What we’re looking for
● DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary college.
● Licensed to practice in Nova Scotia or eligible for licensure.
● Minimum 1–2 years of companion animal experience
● Confidence performing routine surgical procedures with minimal supervision
● An interest in quality patient care, and collaborative teamwork
