Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care – Term Contracts (1 position)
The Department of Companion Animals at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), University of Prince Edward Island, invites applications for one (1) full-time faculty position in companion animal emergency and critical care at the lecturer level. Appointments will be initially for 1 year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance.
The successful candidate will work in the primary care and referral emergency services within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital on clinical cases, supervising rotating interns, clinical services, and administration policy and procedure development.
Applicants should have a DVM (or equivalent) degree; a minimum of 3 years of primary companion animal emergency experience. Preference will be given to candidates with additional training and/or certification in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.
