Maritime Business College is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant Program Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction in our Veterinary Assistant diploma program. The successful candidate will provide engaging classroom and practical training, evaluate student performance, maintain academic records, support practicum preparation, and ensure compliance with Nova Scotia Private Career Colleges (PCC) regulations.
Qualifications Applicants must meet Nova Scotia PCC instructor registration requirements, including:
· A related bachelor's degree with 1+ year of directly related experience; or
· A related diploma/certificate with 2+ years of experience; or
· A Bachelor of Education/valid Nova Scotia teaching certificate with 2+ years of experience; or
· An equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable under PCC regulations.
Candidates should have current veterinary or animal health experience, strong communication and instructional skills, proficiency with MS Office and learning management systems, and a commitment to student success. Teaching experience and RVT/CVT certification are considered assets.
