We are looking to welcome an excellent communicator, collaborative team member, relationship focused, Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Sunnyview Animal Care.
We are a well-established, privately owned, team-spirited small animal practice located in Bedford, just 10 minutes outside of Halifax. For 26 years, we have proudly served our community with a collaborative approach to veterinary care that considers what is best for our furry/feathered/scaled clients as well as their families. This is a very exciting opportunity to join Sunnyview Animal Care as we have a new Owner & Operations Director, Dr. Melissa Burgoyne and we are excited to be expanding!
Dr. Burgoyne has been a part of our community for many years prior to leading our Sunnyview team. Dr. Burgoyne is known for her leadership, mentorship, experience, medical expertise and kindness towards people and animals alike. Our VAs play a crucial role in (we couldn’t possibly list them all :):
* Assisting our veterinarians, technicians, reception, you will be an integral part of our team
* Actively participate in the best client and patient experience by demonstrating a positive attitude and doing everything you can to ensure clients and the patient's needs are met
