Position Overview: As an RVT at our hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent care to our patients. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff to ensure that every pet receives the attention and treatment they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in exams, surgeries, and procedures
• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Educate clients on proper pet care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program
• Registered or eligible for registration as an RVT in Nova Scotia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
